The Results Gallery at Results the Gym – Capitol Hill hosts its exciting 5th Annual Members and Employees Art Exhibition with an Opening Reception on May 4, 2006. This art exhibit will showcase 100 works of art by 18 area artists who also happen to be members and employees of the Results the Gyms Capitol Hill and U Street and over half of whom are among Washington’s best openly gay artists and photographers – making it one of the largest GLBT art exhibits in Washington each year. This show, which is also the largest art exhibition held at Results each year, features a dazzling array of paintings in oil, acrylic, pastel and watercolor, drawings in pencil and charcoal, and images by several nationally recognized photographers, The artists exhibiting are Joan Belmar, Nigel Biggar, Eric Carlson, Jeff Code, Gina Eppolito, Erin Fogarty, Gary Fisher, Gayland French, Leigh Fulton, Maxwell Lawton, Miguel Perez-Lem, Paul Longanbach, Bruce McKaig, Tom Qualey, Marina Reiter, Karen Rowe, John Talkington, Daniel Vickers, Jason Wright, and John Yanson . An opening reception with the artists will be held on Thursday May 4, from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the Results Capitol Hill fitness center, which is located at 315 G Street, SE. The show will be up until mid June and is open to the public.
